Trails to Recovery: Warm up The West

East Coast NC Overland, NC Bronco Club, Carolina Shores, Sportsman Wholesale, and Walmart recently joined forces to support Western North Carolina communities devastated by recent natural disasters.

With the help of the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office, we identified the areas of greatest need and organized a fundraiser on October 27th to address the urgent need for warm weather clothing and essential supplies. Sportsman Wholesale generously matched sales of boots and warm socks and offered discounts on donated gear to support the relief efforts. Walmart also contributed significantly by donating a large number of heaters and blankets to provide warmth and comfort to those affected by the disaster. The funds raised were used to purchase essential items like jackets, hats, and gloves, which are being distributed to those who lost their belongings in the disaster.

We extend our sincere gratitude to NC Bronco Club, Carolina Shores, Sportsman Wholesale, Walmart, and the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office for their invaluable contributions. Their support and generosity helped us provide much-needed relief to those affected by the disaster.
